Classic Female Traveler that Can't stop
and Won't stop seeing the World.
My name is Anne, and while I never have been known as très cool, I always love to think I am because of the adventures I go on. People ask me how I have this amazing confidence to go out and travel alone- but truthfully its because, most of the time I don’t actually know what’s going on.
Yup - I am one of those classic female travelers that can’t stop and won’t stop seeing the world. I love minimalist travel, I think its the greatest feeling to not have to worry about anything. Except I do have goals to one day live in a tree house with a cat named Whiskers. I have my priorities.
When & Why?
I've heard of people biking across country before and loving the thought of it.
I noticed when I was traveling in New Zealand, I would ask Kiwis specific questions about places to travel. Unfortunately, most of them had no idea where to suggest since they didn't know. Like many countries, somehow going overseas is sometimes more appealing. Very guilty of this myself. Therefore, I told myself that when I was finished part one of my overseas adventure, despite it taking 18 months before I got back home but nonetheless I would get to know my country before heading out again.
I was debating just driving cross country or doing some sort of extreme trip, but the thought of biking was always in the back of my mind.
I remember somewhat talking to my mom about biking cross country on a beach in Fiji when she came to visit but I know I said it out loud when I was Australia. I can't remember what traveller I was talking too, but he was the first to know!
